Twisted Papers

We first turned our collection of vintage images into a downloadable website back in May, 2005. In September of that year we started adding CDs of our collections. 

We now have more than 8,600 downloadable individual images, over 400 collage sheets and 40 CDs/DVDs.

Our images cover many vintage periods and categories:
• Victorian and Edwardian illustrations - greeting cards, postcards, line art, and advertisements.
• Mid Century - greeting cards, fashion illustrations and advertisements.
• Original art for background designs.

All of our images are scanned at 300 dpi and are offered at original size. Images on our collage sheets are reduced to fit the arrangement. 

We painstakingly restore and repair all our scans to return the images back to their original splendor. Our files and collage sheets are in JPG format and we never lock the images so they are completely editable to meet your design needs. Recently, we have also been including transparent PNG files, when appropriate.

Our goal is to offer you quality items to use in your creative projects and artwork. We are constantly creating and adding new items, so please check back frequently.
