Hi there! Welcome to Debbie Bastian Designs. I have had a passion for arts and crafts for as long as I can remember. I developed a special love for paper crafts as a young girl when I would cut apart greeting cards and glue them to plain paper to create my very own fancy writing paper. I would also take these same greeting cards, cut them apart, and glue them back together to create personalized gift tags.

As an adult I became the manger of a Hallmark Store and my love for paper crafts exploded. Here I was surrounded by all these beautiful paper goods. When a customer would ask if we had any "fancier" cards my creative side would kick in and I would suggest glitter or ribbons and bows could be added to a plain card for a personal touch as well as to fancy it up. Many of my customers would return later on for more ideas as they had enjoyed creating their own personal look.

After retiring from that job due to health issues, I started poking around on the internet looking for anything and everything craft related. To my absolute delight I found all sorts of graphics and artwork that inspired me to create even more. I began designing greeting cards and other printable items and within a short time my friends and family were asking if they could purchase my creations. My new business, Debbie Bastian Designs was born.

I use Adobe CS3 for all my digital work. I am self taught and always learning something new. I am an avid gardener from which I get a lot of my inspiration. If I am not designing on my computer or creating other crafts then I can be found digging in the dirt. It soothes my soul.
