 We are happy to announce the release of our latest CD: "Victorian Nature Illustrations." There are 280 black and white and color illustrations dating from the late 1700's to the 1880's. This CD is jam-packed with all types of nature illustrations for your collage and paper craft projects. There are birds, bees, butterflies, insects, bird nests, feathers, sea shells, plants and flowers. All of these images came from Victorian engravings and vintage Japanese woodcuts.
You will find beautiful full size color botanicals and full size color bird prints from vintage nature books. To get all of the beautiful detail in the black and white engravings, they were scanned at 360 dpi. This CD is a MUST for your collection and is only $12.95.

We've become a huge fan of SkyBluePink, the land of cool, collage stuff. Queen Xina and the staff at SkyBluePink not only have put together a wonderful and whimsical collection of collageable goodies, they present it in a most amusing way. The journey through SkyBluePink is almost as much fun as the shopping. Here's a couple of excepts from their latest newsletter. (In the interest of full disclosure, let it be said that TwistedPapers is highly lauded in this excerpt… and we thank HRH Xena for the mention.)
Happy New Year to one and all from Queen Xina and the entire Royal Staff of the SkyBluePink Palace on the Isle of Norwood!! Here's to a happy, prosperous, and art-filled 2010 for all. The Queen has been fussing for days about what to call this year, how to reference it in conversation. She was inordinately fond of the Oughts, especially Ought Five, which was Her favorite. "Why not Ought Ten?" HRH inquired last week. "Technically, it is the year Two Zero Ten, and, forsooth, could be rightly called Ought Ten!" Whilst agreeing that She did have a valid point, this Humble Reporter has advised the Queen not to expect that to be the popular choice in the rest of the world.
If thou art fond of using old-fashioned images in thy art, look no further than Twisted Papers for thy collage paper CDs! The proprietors are Stan and Russell, a pair of very charming gentlemen with excellent taste in graphics and an enormous collection of vintage ephemera! Thou may have seen their wares used by Tim Holtz in his 11th tag of the 12 Tags of Christmas series on his blog last month.

 Our good friend, Suze Weinberg, is the artist and she posted the Cave Goddess on her website for free downloading. Suze, as you may know is the internationally renowned diva of rubber stamping and paper crafts, a well-deserved and well-earned moniker.
Not only is the collage a beautiful work of art, it turns out to be one of her hottest downloads. We'd like to think it's because Suze used one of our backgrounds in the piece. Thanks, Suze! Nevertheless, check it our for your self:
