Providing inspiration for altered book and collage artists, Cynthia Duncan and staff have created THE publication that features altered book spreads, altered look scrapbook pages, altered objects, assemblages, and collages.
They are a group of Mixed Media Artists who met through a swap hosted through ARTchix Studio for Altered CDs in the Asian Theme. Through friendship and art, they have grown into a family of loving sisters who now are known as . . . Altered Chix. Chek them out!

Collage and Assemblage art covers a wide gamut from modern art to pop art to abstract art, it can show up in mail art, avant garde art, constructivist art and often is the preferred medium of the revolutionary artist through the juxtaposition of elements to create a jarring or shocking effect.
